Not to be outshone by their international counterparts, Francis ‘Casey’ Alcantara, Jeson Patrombon, and Alberto Lim, Jr. will represent the Philippines as wild card entries, while Ruben Gonzales, John Patrick Tierro and Mico Santiago will also attempt to make it in the main draw through the qualifying tournament.

“I’m so happy for the opportunity to hold this world-class tournament here in the country. It’s a big boost to the popularity of tennis in the Philippines as well as the development of our top players. Now, they have the chance to test their skills against world-class opposition without spending so much to travel abroad," said long-time Philippine tennis patron and, Cebuana Lhuillier President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier who is also the current PHILTA Chairman of the Board.

The ATP Challenger Tour Philippines is made possible through major sponsor Cebuana Lhuillier and will be broadcast through its media partner TV5.
